Your Wedding Colors – Peacock

Peacock Flower GirlWhen choosing colors for your wedding, if you don’t shy away from vibrant colors and if you like colors in the purple and blue families, then you might want to consider a Peacock Color Theme.

One of the most luscious color schemes for weddings, this combination can include just the “peacock colors” or it can also include actual peacock feathers in the décor.

The colors  of a Peacock Theme are turquoise, royal blue, green, and purple. The purple color can vary as shown in the color chart below from a true purple to a color that leans more toward magenta or plum. Regardless of the exact shades, the hallmark of the Peacock theme is “vibrant” blues and purples with some green, as well. There often is a little bit of gold that is used as an accent.

There are lots of ways to incorporate the peacock theme in to the wedding, including food and drink, as well as the wedding cake … and purple shoes fit right in with the color scheme!Peacock Color Story

  1. Hello I’m planning g a peacock wedding for October 2016 .I would love for you to share some ideas on. How is could bring out the blue and green in the Peacock. My Frei dsw wedding was purple, so I definitely want to be different. But I so love the peacock design. Thanks in advance.

  2. Love your peacock wedding ideas found on Pinterest. My daughter has them pinned on her Sweet 16 board as we look for ideas for sweet 16 parties. She loves the peacock theme.

    • Hi there and thanks for stopping by our blog. My guess is that the ceiling drapes were done by an event stylist. They probably sourced the fabric and then custom hung it on the ceiling. I am doubtful that it is something that could be bought off the shelf since the size would have to be customized for the size of the room, etc. Best wishes! ~ Sher

    • this is what i am doing at mine. we are using a styrofoam ring and tulle to create it. 🙂 I also seen it done with a wire coat hanger. We are filling mine with balloons. Just because they create something so beautiful with a high $$$$ price tag doesn’t mean you can’t make it to look just as stunning for way less. Good luck 🙂

  3. In collage 3, all of the photos listed under Project Wedding is actually from Le Paperie and Company and Haute Couture Linens, both located in los alamitos, ca. Thanks!
